Terms of Purchase
Contact our office directly with enquiries and/or requirements. Due to our company’s policy, all our quotations with pricing are issued by email following the buyer’s request. Once the order is agreed/confirmed between the buyer and the seller, proforma invoice will be issued by JKC for the payment to be made prior to manufacturing (for non-credit account holders) or sales acknowledgement will be issued to confirm the order (for credit account holders).
Taking the payment does not mean we have accepted your order and, in the event of us not accepting your order, a full refund will be issued as reasonably possible (refunds issued within 14 working days from the date the order has been denied). Price payable by the buyer for the goods, is the price provided by JKC before placing an order.
Funds will need to be cleared and in our bank account prior to accepting/manufacturing/processing of the order, which may take up to 3 working days. All products remain the property of JKC until payment is made for in full.
All prices shown/quoted by JKC are in GBP. Unless otherwise stated, all prices shown are exclusive of VAT.
Product prices shown/quoted do not include delivery costs, which will be quoted/added on all orders, unless agreed otherwise.
Payment Method
The buyer can choose one of the following methods for payment:

Via BACS – The bank details will be provided by JKC with proforma invoice where the payment should be allocated to. Upon the payment, the buyer to confirm the payment made.

Over the Phone – The buyer to contact our office and make the payment over the phone by card.
Subject to orders not exceeding total amount of £3,000.00 The payment will be taken from the card details provided by the buyer during the payment process.
Following cards are accepted for payment over the phone:

Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard Credit, MasterCard Debit.

Credit account holders to follow the agreement made between the seller and the buyer, for invoices to be cleared within 30 days from receipt of invoice, unless different payment terms agreed between both parties. Delayed payments can lead to credit account termination, which means the payment will be required prior to production for each order.
Pricing Errors
Whilst we try to ensure that all prices of Industrial Lifting Bags are accurate on our pricing system, errors may occur. If we have discovered an error in the price of the goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. In the event of incorrect pricing provided/quoted by JKC, the buyer will be given the option to re-confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling the order. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details provided by the buyer during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify the buyer by email. If the buyer decides to cancel the order after informed of pricing error by JKC and the payment is already made for the goods, JKC will issue the full refund within 14 working days from cancellation date.
Delivery Options
Most of the standard orders are processed under Next Day delivery service. If orders contain larger sized products, different delivery service will be applied with different delivery times. More specific or certain time delivery services can be provided upon buyer’s request, such as AM/9AM etc. Please contact our office for more information. The buyer can also arrange their own courier or collect form our warehouse located at Swansea, Wales if preferable.
Made to order products aimed to be dispatched withing 5-10 working days from order/payment receipt depending on the product and quantity. Stock products aimed to be dispatched within 2-4 working days from order/payment receipt. If for whatever reason JKC are not able to dispatch the order within stated period, we will inform immediately and give you the opportunity to cancel.
JKC does not take any responsibility for delivery delays where the orders are dispatched within agreed timescale, under agreed service.
International Orders
For any enquiries, requirements or quotation requests outside UK, the buyer to directly contact our office by phone for further instructions or email.
All international shipments are made by a trusted third-party courier provider directly from our warehouse to clients specified/agreed location. Delivery times can only be provided as estimate. JKC cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect expenses caused due to late delivery. JKC always aim for the goods to be delivered within specified period set and will always do everything to ensure the delivery time remains the same, however some circumstances may occur beyond JKC’s control which can cause delays.
All international deliveries are shipped under DAP, unless different service such as DDP is requested/agreed between the buyer and the seller. Buyer can also arrange own courier for collection from our warehouse.
The buyer to be present to receive the delivery and sign for it. The buyer to ensure that, at own expense, adequate and appropriate equipment/machinery/manual labour is available for unloading the goods upon delivery. Responsibility of the goods will not pass to you until delivery of the goods is made and signed by the buyer. From this time, risk of damage to the products or loss of the item passes to the buyer. JKC advise the buyer to inspect the goods upon delivery. If any items were lost or damaged in transit, JKC will ask the buyer to report this to delivery driver and inform us.
JKC will require some information for completion of commercial invoices for exportation of the goods. It is buyers’ responsibility to ensure the details provided are correct and accurate to JKC request.
Returns and refunds
The return policy JKC complies with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations of 2000.
If any damages are discovered, it is the buyer’s responsibility to notify us in writing via email within 24 hours following the delivery time. Any claims submitted after this period will not be accepted. When the claim is accepted by JKC, the return of the goods will be arranged for either a refund or replacement. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
All JKC Industrial Lifting Bags, existing models or bespoke made are made to order, whether personalised or not (e.g., with Logos/Labelling, Document Pockets, Colours etc.) cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the dimensions of the product are suitable and correct before confirming the order. Once the order is confirmed/manufactured following buyers requests, JKC will not accept a return or cancellation and refund requests will be strictly denied.
JKC will ONLY considered returns for purchases made from stock, subject to goods being unused and undamaged, and returned to JKC within 14 working days from point of order.
Privacy and Security
JKC takes the buyers/clients privacy very seriously and will only use the information to administer buyers/clients account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us. All information provided by you will be treated securely, confidential, and strictly in accordance with the GDPR.

Use of Bags
All our bags come newly manufactured and certified. All bags are subject to examination to be carried out every 6 months. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the bags are examined every 6 months in accordance with their national regulations. General Safety information is provided with certification, which must be followed to use the bags safely. JKC does not take any responsibility for the way bags being used and will not be liable for any injuries caused due to incorrect usage or lifting.
Quality Complaint
Safety information leaflet accompanies all orders. It is the buyer’s responsibility to follow these guidelines when using the product. Should there be a fault, the bag will be sent to a certified third-party for examination. If the report states that the fault is as a result of poor manufacturing and/or quality control, JKC can either send a replacement bag or issue a full refund. Should the report state that the fault is due improper use (not in accordance with the safety information leaflet provided), JKC WILL NOT be liable to issue a replacement or refund.

Your Right to Cancel
Once the order is accepted or the manufacturing process has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled. In some cases, it is possible that amendments/modifications may be accepted prior to production by which the buyer will be notified by email. Any amendment/modification applications must be made and accepted by email.
Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between JKC and the buyer if:

We have insufficient stock to fulfil the order, or you have ordered items which have been discontinued.

A pricing error had occurred on our pricing system.

Payment has not been received for certain period.
